<p><span><span><span><strong>Gachoucha Kretz</strong> holds a PhD from HEC Paris. Upon earning a master’s degree in finance and spending several years as a finance consultant and executive at Arthur Andersen and LVMH, she decided to pursue her career in marketing research and teaching. She earned an MSc. in Communication at CELSA (the French communication “grande école” at La Sorbonne) and an MA in Marketing and Strategy at Université Paris Dauphine before attending the HEC Paris PhD program. She completed her doctoral dissertation under the supervision of Jean-Noël Kapferer and Kristine De Valck.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span>Gachoucha Kretz specializes in brand management with a focus on the following areas: digital branding, fashion and luxury brand management and social media marketing and branding. Her latest publications deal with fashion and luxury blogging and its impact on brand management. She is also co-authoring a textbook on luxury brand management to be published by SAGE London. She teaches a wide range of HEC students from Summer School and MSc. to post graduate programs such as MBAs and executive MBAs and transversal audiences such as the Luxury Certificate program.</span></span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span>She is a member of the Association for Consumer Research, of the Association Française du Marketing and of the Consumer.</span></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Maha has been part of the QF ecosystem from a very early stage, graduating from both Qatar Academy and Northwestern University in Qatar. Her career took her back to the QF eco-system in 2020, where she now serves as the Head of Strategic Marketing, and has worked on numerous local and international campaigns. Outside of work, Maha is a passionate sports enthusiast and dedicated athlete, with a strong focus on encouraging more women to get involved in sports through her women-only fitness studio, "Knockout Boxing.”</span></p>

<p><strong>Hamad Al-Hajri, Founder & CEO of Snoonu </strong></p>
<p>Mr. Hamad Al Hajri is the founder of Snoonu, Qatar’s fastest-growing super app, valued at $350M with 50,000+ daily orders. He raised $17.5M in Series A & B, and is preparing a $50M Series C round. An HEC Paris EMBA alumnus, he co-founded the award-winning “Mshwar” project. Former Director at Qatar’s Ministry of Finance, he shaped key economic reforms. He also led €5.5B projects at Barzan Holdings and held senior roles at TASWEEQ and Qatar Petroleum. His journey reflects entrepreneurial resilience, innovation, and leadership.</p>

<p><strong><span><span><span>Professor of Strategy and Leadership at HEC Paris</span></span></span></strong></p>
<p><span><span><span>He has been directing degree, custom, open, and certificate programs for HEC Paris since 2014 and for 25 years overall. He earned four doctorates in international strategy, psychology, educational leadership, and philosophy exploring what wisdom means in today’s complex world. He is a graduate of key faculty development programs at Harvard, IESE, EFMD and IMD. Next to designing and delivering executive education seminars worldwide, he advises senior leaders and holds several boards assignments. He held several executive director positions in academia and industry. He published 50+ books for executives and compiled more than 100 case studies for his executive education seminars. </span></span></span></p>
<p><span><span><span>He is certified to administer a number of psychometric tests for strategic leaders. He received a number of research, teaching, book as well as case writing, and academic impact awards along with honorary professorships. Most notably, he won five best course awards at university level and received repeatedly the prestigious CEMS teaching award for best course in top business schools worldwide. Next to his academic initiatives, he founded several ventures. In his free time, he participates in long distance running and Ironman races.</span></span></span></p>

<p><strong>Dr. Seungah Sarah Lee<br />
Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Organizations at HEC Paris in Qatar</strong><br />
<br />
She holds a PhD in Organization Studies and International Comparative Education from Stanford University. Prior to joining HEC Paris in Qatar, she was a Visiting Senior Lecturer at New York University Abu Dhabi. Her research centers around the emergence, institutionalization, and adaptation of global narratives, models, and best practices by organizations and the ways such processes influence individuals and society. She explores how nation-states and organizations negotiate the changing demands of a globalized world and adapt models for sustainable development to foster (social) entrepreneurship and innovation in their local contexts. Her most recent projects include studies on how semi-government organizations foster local entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems and how accelerators and incubators adapt global and local narratives and models to cultivate an entrepreneurial culture among youth in the Arab Gulf. Prior to academia, Dr. Lee worked in the Middle East and the US, leading organizational strategy, program design, and impact evaluation for newly established education nonprofits and providing policy research and advisory services.</p>
