He earned four doctorates in international strategy, psychology. educational leadership, and philosophy exploring what wisdom means in today's complex world. He is a graduate of key faculty development programs at Harvard, IESE, EFMD and IMD.<br />
Next to designing and delivering executive education seminars worldwide, he advises senior leaders and holds several board assignments. He held several director positions in academia and industry. He published 50+ books for executives and compiled more than 100 case studies for his executive education seminars.<br />
He is certified to administer a number of psychometric tests for strategic leaders. He received a number of research, teaching, book as well as case writing, and academic impact awards along with honorary professorships. Most notably, he won five best course awards at university level and received repeatedly the prestigious CEMS teaching award for best course in top business schools worldwide. Next to his academic initiatives, he founded several ventures. In his free time, he participates in long distance running and Ironman races.</td>

Professor of Strategy and Leadership at HEC Paris</strong><br />
<br />
He has been directing degree, custom, open, and certificate programs for HEC Paris since 2014 and for 25 years overall. He earned four doctorates in international strategy, psychology. educational leadership, and philosophy exploring what wisdom means in today's complex world. He is a graduate of key faculty development programs at Harvard, IESE, EFMD and IMD.<br />
Next to designing and delivering executive education seminars worldwide, he advises senior leaders and holds several board assignments. He held several director positions in academia and industry. He published 50+ books for executives and compiled more than 100 case studies for his executive education seminars.<br />
He is certified to administer a number of psychometric tests for strategic leaders. He received a number of research, teaching, book as well as case writing, and academic impact awards along with honorary professorships. Most notably, he won five best course awards at university level and received repeatedly the prestigious CEMS teaching award for best course in top business schools worldwide. Next to his academic initiatives, he founded several ventures. In his free time, he participates in long distance running and Ironman races.</td>

He serves as Chair of the Artificial Intelligence Group (SIG) of the American Academy of Legal Studies in Business, and co-convenes the Law, Society and AI Seminar Series at HEC Paris IP Paris.</p>
<p>His teaching portfolio includes courses on Policy and Regulation of Digital Finance, Blockchain, Innovation and Policy, Data Analytics and AI, and Data Law and Technology Compliance, delivered jointly with the Stockholm School of Economics (CEMS). Ecole Polytechnique (MSc Data Science for Business), and the MIT (LLM), and standalone in the MSc in International Finance, and the Major in Digital Business in Executive Education, he manages the Deloitte</p>
<p>program on AI and Data, and has led tailored-made programs for leading firms and public organizations, including trainings for central banks and high public officials. He is also the director of the Certificate on the Future of Money and Payments.</p>
<p>His research analyses the strategies of organizations to navigate digital innovation and the role of regulations in shaping the fields of privacy, finance, international business transactions, and corporate social responsibility He combines approaches from strategy, computer science and informatics, law, sociology, and science and technology studies He conducted R&D projects with public partners such as the French Cour de cassation and European Commission, and private partners such as Atos, Baker McKenzie, Dechert LLP, Natixis, BNPP, AXA.</p>
<p>He accompanies digital transformation in the private sector and co funded several Tech startups He advises governments across the world in legal reform in the areas of data and technology.</p>
<p>He is a panel member of the EU ERC Grants and co-chair of the CRN ‘Law and Development’ at the American Law and Society Association and at the RCSL He is a member of the editorial boards of AI and Law, European Journal of Risk Regulation and the World Arbitration and Mediation Review, and an Associate editor of Frontiers in Sociology.</p>
