EMBA 2022 cohort

18 Nationalities represented in EMBA Class of 2022.

HEC Paris, ranked #1 European Business School and #1 EMBA worldwide by the Financial Times, has welcomed its EMBA Class of 2022 at its new smart campus in Msheireb, downtown Doha. The multi-national cohort is representative of students from 18 countries, a reflection of the high regard of the HEC Paris executive programs.

The diversity of the participants is valued at HEC Paris as the executives enrich the learning and classroom experience with their different industry, cultural and diverse perspectives in the pursuit of their part-time degree program over the next 15-18 months.

Dr. Pablo Martin de Holan, Dean, HEC Paris in Qatar, said: “The EMBA Class of 2022 is a validation of our mission of impact and excellence, in Qatar, the Gulf, and worldwide. HEC Paris and its partners are helping build a knowledge-based, diversified and sustainable economy that is central to QNV2030 and to the whole world, by training women and men to reach their potential as managers, leaders, and entrepreneurs. These leaders are the ones who will create and grow, in an ethical manner, responsible companies that build a better future for all.” He added: “This is a remarkably strong intake, representing a variety of disciplines in both the private and public sectors, with the difficult task to lead their organizations in a context of high uncertainty and economic and political tensions around the world. A challenging situation made easier by the lessons they will learn during their MBA, and the network they will develop through HEC Alumni, one of the best alumni networks in the world".

Ranked #1 in the world by the Financial Times, HEC Paris’ Executive MBA enables participants to develop their leadership skills and advance their careers. Through this transformational experience, individuals develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their strengths and weaknesses, reinforce connections within the learning community and gain insights about global business trends. The Executive MBA is a practical and intense program developed to provide participants with an understanding of the social, economic and environmental aspects of international business, and the skills to implement their vision.

Participant Dr. Noor Al Khori, Consultant Physician at Sidra Medicine, said she is looking forward to learning in a multicultural environment. “This is a fantastic opportunity to network with fellow participants from different backgrounds, countries and walks of life who can share best and next practices and provide alternative experiences and viewpoints on issues which we may otherwise overlook and not consider.”

For participant Hamad Dalmouk, Workforce and Compensation Director at Qatar Foundation, the program provides a rare opportunity to be able to study under a world-class program with a first-rate faculty while still pursuing his work role. “I believe studying for the EMBA while still holding down my employed role will enable me to bring new perspectives into the workplace which will benefit myself, my employer and my fellow workers, so it is a multi-faceted winning combination.

As an alum of the EMBA Class of 2020, Wafic Naccash, encouraged enrolment in the program. “The EMBA program at HEC Paris provides leaders with superior knowledge, skills, and relationships to accelerate businesses and career growth and facilitates international exposure to broaden perspectives and add clarity to future ideas and goals.”

After enrolling and completing HEC Paris’ degree programs, graduates become part of the institution’s prestigious alumni network worldwide, which has been ranked number one by The Economist. With more than 68,000 alumni in 150 countries, the institution provides an ideal platform for networking, which is essential for exploring international opportunities, switching industries, or further expanding one's skills.
