HEC Paris in Qatar Welcomes Specialized Master’s Class of 2024

HEC Paris in Qatar ranked Europe’s number one Business School and for Executive Education Worldwide in the famed Financial Times (FT) rankings, has welcomed 44 participants to its Specialized Master’s Degree in Strategic Business Unit Management (SBUM) class of 2024, the most diverse group by age range and sectoral interests.

The new cohort onboarded at the business school’s campus in Msheireb Downtown includes participants whose ages range from 26 to 45 years and are drawn from diverse professional backgrounds. The 14 industries they represent span from healthcare, banking, public sector, consulting, oil and gas, aviation, and telecommunications to education, and amongst others. More than 20% of the participants in the current cohort are alumni from Qatar Foundation partner universities.

Welcoming the new cohort, Dr. Pablo Martin de Holan, Dean of HEC Paris in Qatar said: “This is an exceptionally varied intake for HEC Paris and one which demonstrates the diversity of leadership within Qatar. The range of age groups, roles, and sectors this intake represents brings a welcome opportunity for participants to learn, not only from our expert faculty, but also from a valuable peer network with diverse backgrounds, work environments, and generational perspectives with whom they can share best practices.”

With this intake, HEC Paris in Qatar is now on course to surpass the 500 mark in the number of participants who will hold the business school’s Specialized Master’s degree from Qatar.

I am also very excited to network with the other participants and learn from their experiences, and I hope we build relationships that will endure as all our careers progress.”
