With five years of experience in the banking sector, Muneera found reached a pivotal moment. Her role in human resources exposed her to critical business concepts that she wanted to master.

Muneera’s educational journey has been  rooted in Qatar Foundation’s (QF) ecosystem, from Qatar Academy to an undergraduate degree in International Politics at Georgetown University. Each experience sharpened her critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.

“Growing up in QF’s educational environment instilled a desire for continuous growth ,” she shares. The  International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Qatar Academy taught her to think critically and take calculated risks. At Georgetown,  she cultivated her analytical mindset and global perspective, preparing her to approach challenges strategically.

“The EMBA program pushes us to think outside the box.   It’s not just about acquiring knowledge but transforming it into actionable skills,” she explains, highlighting the parallels between her educational background and the HEC Paris teaching approach.

Advice for Future EMBA Participants

When asked for advice, Muneera emphasizes the importance of applying classroom  learning to real-world challenges. “Start your journey with the mindset that every concept  you learn has a direct application in your professional or personal life” .

She also highlights the significance of time management and strong support systems: “The EMBA is demanding. Having support at home and work, along witheffective organization skills, will help you make the most of this experience” .

Finally, she stresses the power of networking and collaboration: “You’ll connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion and drive, creating opportunities for  mutual growth and lifelong connections.”
